ANTIBES, France – MedAire, the global yachting medical and travel assistance company, has increased its Mediterranean presence with a new yachting agency in Antibes, France, and additional maritime personnel. Antibes is the ideal location to provide clients exclusive support for medical supplies, training and advice locally, where they need it, since it is the largest yachting harbor in Europe with the capacity to accommodate yachts of all sizes.

Lin Gholson, R.N.—a seasoned maritime veteran, nurse and trainer—has served MedAire as a medical instructor for almost 20 years. She will provide medical instruction and general support by sharing her time across Mediterranean ports. Lin’s nursing background includes extensive ocean crossings and crew training on sailing and motor yachts, and on new builds in European shipyards. 

Robert Aliamus—a former yacht captain and native of France—is the second yachting veteran to join the Mediterranean team, as business development manager. He has been with MedAire in the Ft. Lauderdale area for almost 2 years, and he now takes up residence in France to lead the Antibes agency. Robert is uniquely qualified to ensure yachting crew and owners are secured with medical and travel assistance at sea and ashore.

Emma Johnson—a competitive sailor—brings extensive client service experience to her post of yachting account manager. Fluent in English and French, she is well-positioned to support clients all across the Mediterranean.
