The founder of MedAire, Ms. Garrett was awarded Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2001. She serves on the Board of Governors for the Flight Safety Foundation (FSF), consults with the US Federal Aviation Administration, has provided congressional testimony, and was awarded the Business Aviation Meritorious Service Award for innovative contributions to corporate aviation
safety.
Laurent Sabourin, Group Managing Director
Since 1989, Mr. Sabourin has been the Group Managing Director for International SOS. His professional experience spans 10 years in the insurance underwriting and brokering business in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. He has held medical expense underwriting positions with Colonia Versicherung AG, Victoire Assurance and Reale Mutua. A fellow of the Insurance Broker Institute of Paris, Mr. Sabourin earned an MBA from the Paris Business School and a master's degree in international law from the Sorbonne in Paris.
Grant Jeffery, CEO, MedAire Worldwide
As CEO of MedAire Worldwide, Grant Jeffery is responsible for the company’s strategic direction and oversight of worldwide sales and marketing, as well as the regional operating units in Phoenix, Farnborough and Singapore. From 2001 to 2008, Mr. Jeffery held various senior executive positions with California-based Panasonic Avionics Corp., including vice president of operations, where he was responsible for strategy, sales and marketing, operations, and delivery of business and entertainment solutions/services to commercial airlines. He has held management roles with Tenzing Communications, Rockwell Collins and Qantas Airways. An Australian national, Mr. Jeffery earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from University of New South Wales and a graduate diploma from Deakin University. A 10-year veteran of the Royal Australian Air Force, he also graduated from the Australian Defence Academy.
Craig J Horrigan, CFO, MedAire
As CFO for MedAire since August 2009, Craig Horrigan oversees the Finance and Information Technology departments across the global company. From 1999 to 2009, Mr. Horrigan held various senior finance and business project positions with Kimberly Clark throughout Asia Pacific. He was Finance Director for India, Indonesia, Malaysia and Singapore. Prior to MedAire, Mr. Horrigan was the Head of Finance for the Healthcare Division of Kimberly Clark Asia Pacific. Earning a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Deakin University in Victoria, Australia, Mr. Horrigan is also a Certified Practicing Accountant of Australia.
Gregory J. Bell,
Director
From May 2005 through the present, Mr. Bell served as Chief Financial Officer of the Americas Region for International SOS, responsible for finance and information technology. From January 2003 until joining International SOS, Mr. Bell served as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Katalyst LLC, an investment banking firm focused on the technology marketplace. From October 1999 to December 2002, Mr. Bell served as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Destiny Websolutions, Inc., a product and services technology firm. Mr. Bell also operated a consulting business providing bookkeeping services to clients since April 2005. Mr. Bell received his BS in Accounting from the Pennsylvania State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
